The National Park Service preserves unimpaired the natural and cultural resources
and values of the national park system for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration
of this and future generations. The National Park Service cooperates with partners
to extend the benefits of natural and cultural resource conservation and outdoor
recreation throughout this country and the world. The Sequoia Parks Foundation
works closely with Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks’ Superintendent and
staff to identify and select special projects in need of support.
Sequoia Natural History Association - www.sequoiahistory.org A non-profit membership organization dedicated to supporting education, interpretation, research, and the natural and historic preservation of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, Devils Postpile National Monument, Lake Kaweah, and other areas of the National Park System. The Sequoia Natural History Association is committed to enriching the experiences of visitors and promoting public awareness of the significance of national parks through educational programs, publications, and financial support.
