Sequoia Grove Winery

Sequoia Grove Winery’s Save a Tree Campaign has provided over $20,000 for the Parks. While building consumer awareness, the Campaign supports the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to protect giant sequoias and their limited habitat by funding important education, restoration, and research projects.

Beginning this summer and through the 2011 holiday season, Sequoia Grove will give even more through proceeds from sales of their 2007 limited-production, premium Cabernet Sauvignon Cambium and 100% of the proceeds from sales of specialty bonbons made by chocolatier Jacques Torres. To learn more and participate in the Save a Tree Campaign, visit www.SequoiaGrove.com.

This spring, the Foundation hosted a Bay Area house party featuring Sequoia Grove’s Cambium limited-production Cabernet Sauvignon-based red wine.  “The cambium imprints the memory of the vintage on the grapes,” explains winemaker Michael Trujillo, “and that’s what I want in the wine.” Cambium 2007 is primarily from vineyards in Rutherford and Oak Knoll.
