The National Park Service cooperates with partners to extend the benefits of natural and cultural resource conservation and outdoor recreation throughout this country and the world. The Sequoia Parks Foundation works closely with Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks’ Superintendent and staff to identify and select special projects in need of support. See Letter of Support.

A non-profit membership organization dedicated to supporting education, interpretation, research, and the natural and historic preservation of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, Devils Postpile National Monument, Lake Kaweah, and other areas of the National Park System. The Sequoia Natural History Association is committed to enriching the experiences of visitors and promoting public awareness of the significance of national parks through educational programs, publications, and financial support.

DNC provides continuing support of the Foundation and the Park through the Dollar Donation Program, which raises funds for park projects, hosted the Foundation’s Advisors Retreat and Spring Feasts, and most recently awarded the Foundation a $15,000 capacity building grant in 2009. DNC is the authorized concessionaire for Sequoia National Park. Properties operated in the Park by the company include not only the Wuksachi Lodge, but also the Lodgepole Market Complex and the Bearpaw Meadow High Sierra Camp. Other Delaware North properties in California include hotels in and near Yosemite National Parks and the Queen Mary in Long Beach.
Southern California Edison - www.sce.com Southern California Edison awarded the Foundation two capacity building grants, $70,000 in the fall of 2009 and $100,000 spring of 2010. These grants enable the Foundation to increase our organizational capacity and fund raising ability in order to better meet the parks needs.
